This is Hartman's 25" "Knocabout" hard-sided suitcase in a beautiful English tan leather. It was owned by my parents and was only used in the trunk of their car so not as checked luggage. You'll note that one of the photos shows two cases; only the larger of the two is being sold here. They are a matched pair and the smaller case still has the Neiman Marcus label inside (if you want to see it let me know and I'll photograph it). The larger case does not have the Neiman Marcus label any longer. It is my plan to keep the smaller and thinner case. If you are interested in buying that too, send me a message and I will consider listing it on Pricetronic.
This case is in very good condition but it is not being sold as new. There are some signs of use (some minor scuffs & scratches and a small ding here at there) but generally this case looks great. A professional polishing may help hide these but probably not completely. Please see the photos and enlarge them for the best view. It's in exceptionally good vintage condition. This particular case measures about 25 1/2" end to end, 20" top to bottom (the handles when raised add about 3 3/4" more) and about 7 3/4" thick when closed.
There are all sorts of flaps on the interior and the entirety of the interior is in very good condition. Included are the two coat hangers as seen in one of the photos.
EDIT: I have managed to find a functioning key (H345) in the second hand market and it will be provided with the case!
I rarely see these anymore -- especially not in such good condition -- and don't think they are sold. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.
SHIPPING: Given the size of this piece, shipping is a bit of an issue and is rather costly. My local FedEx gave me the best price for packaging and shipping via ground. If you wish to arrange your own shipping, I'm open to discussing that with you. BUT, I will need someone to package this piece and FedEx gave a very reasonable cost for that BUT only if shipped via them.
